While we love telling you about the new outdoor room and sharing ideas for patios that take the indoors out, we can’t forget about classic walkways and pathways. This week, we’re taking a look at some unique designs that take this landscape design feature to the next level.
Let us know in the comments section which one is your favorite.
The Bergerac pathway to this home’s front entrance is also a bridge to help visitors navigate over the serene water feature.
This walkway combines Belgard Mega Lafitt pavers with pebbles to create a contemporary, natural look and feel.
We love the way these homeowners used two different paver styles (Mega Arbel and Urbana) and shades for a walkway with a border.
This pathway also utilizes the border effect with Mega Arbel and Mega Begerac. The addition of lighting helps guide walkers as the sun goes down.
This unconventional walkway uses natural textured Mega Arbel pavers with rocks to blend this contemporary home with its surrounding environment.

Good Afternoon,
We are looking to replace the pavers in front of our resort in San Antonio. Is it possible to get a catalog so upper management can choose the style they like.
Here is a link to our catalog for the South Central region, where you are located. You request for information was also forwarded to our customer service center who can reach out to help you answer any additional questions.
In progress of planning an outdoor space that I’d like to include pavers Do you have contractors and or consultants in the Chicago (60653 zip) area
We do have a number of Belgard Authorized Contractors in the Chicago area. To find one, please visit Belgard.com/locator.
Which paver product line do you recommend for driveway edging (level, not Belgian). Prefer “river blend” coloration and natural look. Dayton, Ohio area.
There are a lot of great options in the Dayton area. It just depends on what kind of look you’re going for. If you want something sleek and modern, Melville Plank will give you long lines. But this will only be good option for a straight walkway. If you have curves, you’ll want to go with something shorter. For that smooth-faced modern look, go with Dimensions. For a natural stone look, Origins has a nice slate texture. Or a product that a lot of people use for borders is Old York. It has a weathered look to and comes in some dramatic colors that are great for contrast.
do you make Ashland prism stone?
Douglas,
Thanks for your comment. We are currently not producing the prism stone. Have you checked out the Mega Arbel? It a similar look
Great walkway over the Japanese – garden style dry streambed. How did they support the pavers over that area?
The installer likely had a custom bridge made that the pavers were adhered too. The bridge could be built out of metal or wood… it’s hard to say, but properly engineered, either would work.
I am looking forward to covering my patio with mega arbel but all of the paver vendors in my area say it is not available. Are you still making the mega arbel product?
Yes, We do manufacture Mega-Arbel but availability may depend on your location. For info, visit Belgard.com/locator.
Looking for specific pavers that grass grows through for the Pensacola area.
