Susan O’Gorman of Perry, Georgia was randomly selected from over 144 million entries to win the grand prize package valued at more than $2 million. The giveaway includes the newly constructed furnished home, a 2019 Honda Passport Elite and a $250,000 cash prize.
Belgard was especially please to hear how excited Susan was about the home’s expansive Belgard backyard.
“My favorite part of the house is not a room; it is the outdoors,” she said. “I just love that backyard. It looks like a place you’d go escape and relax. But there’s not a part of that house that I don’t love.”
Nestled amidst stately oaks, the multi-level outdoor living space offers serene marshfront views and multiple entertainment areas including step-stone terraces, an outdoor kitchen, a contemporary poolscape and a fire pit patio. In addition to the backyard outdoor living area, the home also includes Belgard paver walkways and a Belgard paver driveway.
Mother of three and soon-to-be first-time grandmother, Susan and her husband Michael are very familiar with Hilton Head Island. “We used to vacation there when the kids were young; it’s one of our favorite places to be. It’s not very far from us; it’s only about three hours.”
