Front yards are a home’s first impression. Content creator, designer and business owner Savannah Kokaliares had a vision for the front yard of her Mesa, Arizona, home – and Belgard helped her bring it to life.
“We had a dream for our front yard and Belgard worked with us to make it possible,” says Savannah. “Curb appeal and design were at the top of our list. Working with the designs and products Belgard had to offer made it so easy to make it a reality. We are so in love with our front yard space and are proud to call it our home.”
Using Belgard hardscapes, Savannah and her husband, Kyle, transformed their driveway, sidewalk and front walkway into a beautiful, cohesive entry to their home.

Savannah Kay x Belgard: Design Inspiration
Savannah was one of the five creators chosen to attend the HGTV Dream Home 2024 preview event in Anastasia Island, Florida, where she saw how Belgard products help an outdoor space come to life.
After the event, she worked with Belgard’s Design Studio to develop a plan to redesign her front yard.
“I wanted to upgrade our front yard to give it a fresher, cleaner and more modern look,” says Savannah. “After seeing Belgard products at the HGTV Dream Home 2024, I knew they could help us achieve what we wanted.”
With guidance from her landscape architect father-in-law and the Belgard Design Studio team, Savannah selected the Papyrus paver as an integral piece of her front yard.
“Papyrus is such a great product, with a really unique and beautiful texture I knew would complement our home’s exterior.”
Savannah and the team focused the design concept around the Papyrus paver to highlight its organic texture. The design includes a distinct diamond pattern, inlaid with turf, leading up to the home’s front entrance.
Design Elements: Driveway, Sidewalk + Front Walkway
To give Savannah’s front yard more curb appeal, the driveway, sidewalk and front walkway all received a new look with Belgard pavers.
Driveway
For the driveway, she and the team selected Dimensions pavers. Dimensions pavers create crisp, clean lines and have a smooth, linear surface. The Dimensions 6 3pc system is suitable for driveway applications. Light and dark gray tones were paired to create a striking design.
The Dimensions pavers are paired with Belgard’s Melville Wall system to elevate the overall look and feel of the driveway design.
Sidewalk
The refreshed sidewalk is a showcase for Papyrus. Spanning the length of the front of the home, the sidewalk is both a style choice and a functional element of the design. The Papyrus paver adds an upscale, organic look that enhances the overall design and helps the entire front yard space feel cohesive.
Front Walkway
The front walkway is now a spectacular entrance to Savannah and Kyle’s beautiful ranch-style home. It features the Papyrus pavers cut into a diamond pattern and inlaid with turf that give it an organic but updated look and feel. The Dimensions pavers surround the design for contrast.
The walkway also features the sleek Melville Curb to provide a contemporary finishing touch, adding definition to both the walkway and the adjacent garden.
Belgard x Savannah Kay: The Final Product
With Kyle being a licensed contractor, he assembled an expert crew to build out the amazing outdoor designs. The team wrapped up construction in late June 2024, just in time for Savannah, Kyle and their family to show off their new front yard for the summer.
